This food delivering initiative has increased it's revenue a lot, specially in busy cities where people have hardly any leisure time. Their services actually inspired small scale restaurants to start delivering food at home. 

What we learn? A small nominal effort taken by a business to facilitate the customers can have a large impact on the revenue of that company.

Here's a backstory of the McDonald's real founders. It was co-founded by 2 brothers Richard and Maurice McDonald. They served Burgers and Fries on the go, wrapped in use and throw material. Thus, speeding and increasing their sales. Customers were fascinated by the speed and perfection of their products. Ray Kroc, a salesman visited McDonalds to deliver Shake mixer and he instantly visioned the future of McDonalds.  Ray Kroc an ordinary salesman became an extraordinary business man because of the opportunities he grabbed at the right time. He was a visionary. He kept on buying franchises of McDonalds and slowly and gradually ended up owning the entire company.  A lot of people have different opinions, some say that Ray Kroc cheated McDonald Brothers.
